I worked with Corey at Fubo, and he's one of those engineers who takes on complex tasks and runs with it. He rebuilt our web caching system, improved SEO visibility across the site, and brought a high level of technical expertise that kept the whole team moving in the right direction. As one of the long standing veterans of Fubo during my time with him, he was one of the team's strongest subject matter experts. What I like most is how grounded he is. His work on our series detail page is my personal favorite example of many, where he rebuilt components end-to-end and structured the project in a way that significantly reduced the existing complexity. The outcome was a far better experience for users, a new code base that made future work easier for our team, and automated series detail support that removed a major bottleneck for our marketing team. Corey is dependable, always happy to help, and committed to leaving things better than he found them. He has a rare instinct both for identifying processes or systems that should be improved, as well as a strong business sense for which improvements are worth pursuing. His overhaul of our release and changelog process removed a ton of manual effort, reduced errors, and enabled us to deploy far more frequently and with much less friction. Working with Corey on the Growth Team at Fubo was a great demonstration of what it’s like to be on the same wavelength between front-end and back-end development. Many features that I contributed to at Fubo came from the open and free flowing communication between Corey and I. Our chats and calls always focused on collaborating together to come up with a solution to not only today’s challenge but the what-if scenarios that could come up in the future.
